Wow!!! The dance community has not heard from this artist in quite some time. Laura Branigan announces her return in a BIG way with a remake of a classic. This disco gem was recorded by the "Queen of Disco" herself, Donna Summer back in the '70's. Robert takes this track over the edge with a standout mix combining both versions into one big mega"DIM"mix. The mix begins and ends with the Laura Branigan version of "Dim" including some creative restructuring and sample usage. After the first break, Robert ever so smoothly moves into the Donna Summer original version. At several points it is difficult to determine which diva is singing!!! Two breaks are provided, the first is before the Donna section and the second is after. If you dare, and if your heart and dancefloor can handle it , let the entire mix play through!!!!

Laura Branigan is a singer and, increasingly, an actress from Brewster, NY, who first gained notice when she became a backup singer for Leonard Cohen in 1977. Branigan achieved considerable popular success in the early '80s by applying her big, powerful voice to translated versions of Eurodisco hits.
