Orea is doing well. We dusted her off last year and used her a few times as a
pointing dog for Samson. So far Orea is doing great for a 12-1/2 year old, we count our
blessing.

Samson made his mark in the field last November and continued his march. Between
November and the end of February, in only 11 runs, he won 4 trials(3 majors), took 2nd
3x's, won 9 open field points, picked up his last two legs to earn his Master Hunter
Title, and he finished his Amateur Field Championship.
Samson currently has a should injury, we hope he'll recover soon but we fear we may not
bring him out again until the end of next year.

Sophie is developing her run. Last November she won her first broke stake and in
February took 2nd in a major Open Gun Dog Stake. Sophie consistently has the best
point of all out dogs. In the field Sophie is minor pointed on both sides.

Oochee came back to us in 2004. She is doing really well considering the limited
training and exposure she has had. She is standing pigeons, quail, chukar and pheasants.
In the desert she worked the hills like I wished Samson & Sophie would. Her Oochee's
traing is comming along really nice. Once broke, I think she will have no problem running
up with Samson & Sophie. We plan on running her in January in the field. On the left
is the first point she ever gave us, what ya think?

"Efi" was a love of our life, truly one of a kind, she was a tuff ole broad. How
I miss all those nudges from her when I was trying to drink my coffee, that howl she made
when she got excited, and her snuggling up to me, every day. |

"Jessie" was
my baby. I still get teary eyed when I go thru Jessie's Trail. What a tragic loss,
not just to me and Leslie, but to the breed. Sadly we will never know what all she would
have contributed to the breed. Besides, Jessie was a genuine totally lap broke dog you
coud could ever have! Jessie taught me so much!! I miss her everyday. |

In
the field, "Hunter" was in a class of his own. He was by far one the
nicest field dog I have yet to see yet own. He had class, his run, style & confidence,
I was in awe when I got to run him and still am to this day. I occasionally see glimpses
of him thru Samson.
