Pictured above is Gypsy who is our first sheltie. She was a christmas present from my sister-in-law. Gypsy is a glamourous sable & white bitch with personality plus. Little did I know that Gypsy would go on to achieve what she has in the breed ring. Although slow to mature, she started taking out top honours by the age of three and hasn't stopped. Whilst taking time out for two litters, Gypsy loves every minute in the show ring. She is handled by her co-owner, Mr Craig Hatzikiriakos. What a team these two make - they have won under both International & Australian judges at Speciality, Semi-Specialty and All Breed shows.
Some of her most memorable wins are: Best in Show - Penrith Kennel & Obedience Club under Mr A Mocke (S.Afr), the following day her brother, Rambo, took out Runner Up in Show at Hawkesbury Kennel Club, Sheltand Sheepdog Club of NSW Championship show in 2000 (Mrs J Waldron - NZ) & 2001 under Mrs S Henley - W. Aust) , Best of Breed at Sydney Royal 2001 under Mr K Edh - Sweden plus numerous Best of Breed and Best in Groups.
Gypsy obtained her Grand Championship & is now retired from the ring.
What a show girl she was!!
