Band Homework Assignments and Practice Tips

Remember that all assignments should be practiced every day so that the student may play their homework correctly in their lesson. 10 minutes a day is way better than 0 minutes a day :O) Don't forget to fill out your practice chart and have your parent sign them.

All assignments should already be written down in the students' band binder on his or her Homework Chart. Click here for a copy of the Homework Chart where students should record their band homework.

Please remember to contact me if you'd like your child to retake a playing quiz or get some extra help.

Remember, practice doesn't make perfect, Perfect Practice Makes Perfect. Please use these basic steps when practicing your instrument at home. Incorrect practice habits are harmful to a musician's progress. You may find it helpful to place this page near or on your practice stand.
