3 Elizabeth Single BOYD was born on 28 May 1813 in Washington County, Virginia. She died on 21 May 1876 in Greene County, Indiana.   Elizabeth married a widower, Allen LETSINGER, on 8 January 1853 in Roane County, Tennessee.   Allen was born on 19 February 1813 in Knox County, Tennessee son of Philip LETSINGER Sr. and Nancy Ann PETTIT.  He died on 30 June 1896 in Jasonville, Greene County, Indiana.

NOTE: Allen married before and after Elizabeth Single Boyd.  All three wives were Elizabeth.  Allen and Elizabeth Boyd Letsinger moved to IN about 1870.

MARRIAGE: Allen's first marriage was to Elizabeth Cole 25 Jul 1833 in Knox Co, TN by Charles J McClung they were married by Robert Williams..
