Eva Gertrude HOLDER CRABTREE married William Reason DRAIN after the death of Tilman CRABTREE. They married on 30 October 1918 in Greene County, Tennessee. They were in Greene County in 1920 but by 1930 they had moved to Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana. They moved back to Tennessee where Eva died 26 November 1960 in Greene County, Tennessee and is buried in Union Temple Cemetery in Greene County. William Drain was previously married to Nancy Jane 'Dolly' WALKER. William and Nancy had six children. William and Eva had three children. (2)It has been suggested by Barbara (from another researcher). That Mahala's children were that of Jonathan David Maltsbarger. This has not been proven. I find that Jonathan was born about 1856. Mahala's first child was born 1860. I doubt that Jonathan could have fathered a child at 4 years old. But, there is a possibility that he father her last child who was born 1874. Jonathan would have been about 17 or 18 at that time.
