MILITARY: Civil War--Deposition in his file states he fell from his horse during the Civil War and had injury to the right hip.  As a result he is now paralyzed.  At the time of his deposition he was 52.

(2) # 8 - Cleveland Co, NC - 1846-1847; A deed from Jeremiah Plummer to Samuel Dunn for one hundred Acres of land dated 19th of December 1846 was duly proven in open court by the oath of A C Irvine.
(3) #43 - Cleveland Co, NC - 1848-1849; A deed from Samuel M. Dunn to Anna Deadman for Thirty (?) and a half acres of land dated January 1848 was duly proven in open court by the oath of J R Logan.

Morris John Tucker Zechariah Earl Lawson Henderson Jacob Ramsour David Crouse Hoses T Abernathy and A R Homesly, dated the 20th April 1843, was duly acknowledged by the mortgagor Joseph Green, to secure the payment of One hundred and twenty two Dollars and six cent or there about to the several persons above named for which he makes a deed of trust to the following property (Viz) One 4 horse wagon and gear one carryall wagon and harness, also all the claim I have in a suit now pending in Rutherford Superior Court against Samuel Hampton [sic], which property is to be held as the property of said Green till till the first June 1844 Then if said debts are not satisfied the property is to be sold to satisfy the same. was born about 1818 in Lincoln County, North Carolina, and died after 1872 in Tennessee.  His parents are unknown. He married Julia Ann BLANTON 26 December 1839 in Rutherford County, North Carolina. She was born about 1820 in North Carolina to John BLANTON and Rebecca HUGHES.  She died in Tennessee.
