When my father passed away in 1982 I had this huge void in my life for several years. Since my father was my hero and my grandpa was someone that I adored. I just knew that I wanted to know more about my father’s family. The desire to learn more on my grandparents has brought me much satisfaction. The more that I found the more that I loved my dear ancestors. Researching has made these kin seem so real to me….not just a name. I have been collecting information since 1987.
I have written a book on my direct line so only a whisper will be listed here. When I first started researching I had no intention of writing a book; just curious. But the more that I collected and talked with my immediate family about what I had found, they encouraged me to put it all on paper. So I started compiling the book in 1997 with a rough draft for my family to see. I then began to draw together the information and photo’s that finally became my book. This was done in the years 1998 thru 2000. Since it is copyrighted I will only list names with very little information. I also will not list anyone that was born in the 1900’s.
I have much information on many of Henry’s descendants. But these are only MY theories and assumtions; with some documentation. But if you would like to write to me.. I will gladly share anything but my direct line. However, if you connect then we will talk more about that. |
