                                                                Joseph Grubb
This is an enlargement (I had made in 1989) of Joseph taken from a photo of a group of men. These men  are thought to be members of the G.A.R. (Grand Army of Republic). In the bigger picture you can see tombstones in the weeds. And, each man is holding a small arrangement of flowers. Don't know when photo was taken but must be on some Memorial Day before his death in 1887. It might be at the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Roane County, Tennessee where he and Lucinda were buried. This cemetery is in the restricted area of Oak Ridge on Bethel Valley Road.
Will share some of the photo's that I have collected over the years. There are not many, but they are SO dear to my heart. These were copied from photo's owned by my beloved aunts and cousins. Some of these generous and wonderful people are now deceased namely, Billie (Hembree) Grubb, Mary (Grubb) Rayfield. Those that are living I will not name.  But many thanks to all of you, you know who you are.

My Great Grandparents
Note: When I first started researching, my Cousin Billie, told me that the above photo's were Franklin Boyd Grubb.  I believed this until I was looking at my Aunt Mary's pictures. She had the below photo of Franklin and family and was told by her father that they were her grandparents Franklin and Rutha. Comparing the pictures you can tell they are not the same man.  Billie had a picture of Lucinda's sister, Mary who she descends from, and you can certainly tell that Lucinda and Mary were sisters.
