4 James Hanks MILLER was born on 23 August 1780 in Cripple Creek, Wythe County, Virginia. He died on 6 February 1854 in Bradley County, Tennessee. He married Jane P. CLOPTON on 2 January 1802. She was born on 30 April 1782 in Virginia and died on 10 April 1841 in Roane County, Tennessee. NOTE: (1)Signed petition for road June 1804 Scarlerye's Ferry.. (2)Taxable 1805.. James H and his mother Martha were named admin of Henry's estate. There was a big dispute between James H Miller and his mother & other children. But all children sided with Breazeale and his mother and James H Miller was removed. They were accusing James H of dishonesty in monies returned by sales & there were property disputes. In the end after all court appearances James H was not the one that was doing wrong. It was his brother-in-law Breazeale who was decieving Martha and the others. This is what I precieved from them. She died about 1866 in Dade County, Georgia. She married Washington BACON on 8 June 1825 in Roane County, Tennessee. Washington was born on 8 November 1799 in Lunenburg County, Virginia to Richard BACON and Nancy Ann BARNES. He died on 15 April 1887 in Cleburne County, Alabama and was buried in Borden Cemetery, Cleburne County.
