.2  Mary 'Polly' PRESTON was born 24 January 1803 in Roane County, Tennessee.  She died 15 April 1874 in Nebo, Pike County, Illinois.  She married William S. BOGART on 7 September 1820 in Kingston, Roane County, Tennessee.  William was born 30 April 1803 in Washington County, Tennessee to Abraham BOGART and Elizabeth DUNCAN. He died 7 July 1863 in Buckhorn, Pike County, Illinois.  Both are  buried in Green Pond Cemetery, Pike County, Illinois.

MARRIAGE: William Bogart married Polly Preston; Sur: Abraham Bogart 7 Sep 1820; married by John Essary JP. Sur: William Bogart & Abraham Bogart "Marriage Records of Roane Co, TN." by Hutcherson/McCluen; another listing Preston, Polly to William Bogart 9-7-1820  [Ro], "Early East TN Marriages", Bride page 294, by Sistler.

BIBLE: George Preston Jr's Bible in possession of Gaylene Bartlett, San Jose, CA;  Polly Preston was born 24th day of January 1803.   She mailed me a copy November 1999.  Gloria Carter says that her birdate was 14 Jan 1803; Bible record says 24th.

CRAWFORD on 27 November 1853 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. He also married (2) Mary Ann BELL on 1 January 1863 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. Mary was born about 1844 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri to George BELL and Hannah HILL or HALL. She died about 1869 in Wright County, Missouri. He married (3) Emily DENNIS about 1870 in Wright County, Missouri. Emily was born May 1836 in Roane County, Tennessee.  She died 20 July 1917 in Nevada, Vernon County, Missouri.

Sarah was born 22 February 1876 in Wright County.  She died 28 September 1957 in Aurora, Lawrence County, Missouri.

NOTE: (1)Mansfield Mirror: 7 Oct 1926....John Hiles born 17 Aug 1857 died 14 Sep 1926; married 1883 to Dicca Adison (or Adamson).  He was a member of the Fair View Baptist Church near Sparta, MO until his death, 'Uncle John' lived at Sparta until 1915, he came to Mansfield and married Betty Gaskill on 4 Mar 1915, helived at Mansfield until his death.  Funeral was held on 16 Sep 1926 by Rev. J A Russelll, Friday the body was taken to Sparta for service and laid to rest at his old home place.  He leaves a widow, three sisters and one brother.
