NOTE: In researching the Stow family I have found that it is spelled various ways. This particular family spelled it Stow and later Stowe. I continued with the original spelling.....Wra

1. Solomon STOW Sr. was born before 1770. He died about 1826 in Roane County, Tennessee. Wife is unknown.

NOTE: As of this date Oct 10, 2001 I have Samuel as his brother and William as his father THIS HAS NOT BEEN PROVEN..

Comment: Since Solomon has no Jr or Sr I'm assuming that Solomon Sr died; a white poll and 1 black poll are taxed; that is the reason that I'm assuming this is Jr... Solomon Sr had 200A Solomon Jr had no acreage so he must have inherited his father's land.
