Megan Barroso's Funeral
Megan's body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church

The Sheriff's Department is also busy preparing for Barroso's memorial service, they are
trying to provide television monitors so people outside the church can see the service.

The month-long search for a missing Moorpark woman officially ended Sunday after authorities
positively identified Megan Barroso's body, but closure for some friends and family has
just begun.
An autopsy found that Barroso, 20, died of a gunshot wound to the abdomen, said Mitch
Breese, senior deputy medical examiner for the Ventura County Medical Examiner-Coroner's
Office.
