Pygora Goats!
Pygoras are a relatively new hybrid created in 1978 by Katherine Jorgenson with an Angora and a Pygmy... now represented by the Pygora Breeder's Association. They are a hardy little goat & produce a wonderful variety of fiber!  Pygoras have the gentle nature of the Angora, and the playful spunk of the Pygmy.  Some Pygoras produce a type "A" fiber (mohair), while others produce a "C" (cashmere) type.  And others produce a B or B/C fiber...meaning a combination of the 2.

HOME
We need to find *good* homes for most of our Pygoras. E-mail us for information and new pictures.  We have about 10 goats to rehome, including 2 nice proven bucks and possibly two sweet pet wethers.    Our does are all great mamas and kid with no troubles or assistance.  We also have a proven, yet lonely, Shetland Ram.  He is VERY sweet and would love a home with ewes again.  VERY REASONABLE PRICES TO GOOD HOMES!!!
3 year old Chocolate buck.  Proven breeder and throws nice kids.
Some of our beloved wethers in the past, posing nicely for the camera.
White yearling doe showing off her climbing skills for the ducks.
Cocoa...a yearling chocolate doe...ready for her new home.
SHETLAND RAM
If you need wool to spin...here's your guy!  He is a wonderful proven breeder for your spinners flock.  Best of all...he's a pet!  He will stand and shake his tail when you scratch his back.  Gorgeous horns.  Great ram!  We'd love to keep him, but we don't have our ewes anymore and he's a lonely soul.  GREAT deal for someone!
Don't forget to e-mail us! We will make a great deal to the right home.  If you are interested in raising fiber animals, we can fix you up!!
