RECIPES 1                              Lanfears's Lanky Lefsa

Submitted by: Facade
**My mom and I make this every so often, I can't cook at all, but I watch like a freak!  This is really really really good and easy!  I am not sure how to explain it, it's like a soft, non-flaky pastry, with a sweet inside.**

1 liter cream (or heavy whipping cream)
1 cup margarine
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
Enough flour to form a soft malliable dough

Form into balls the size of an egg.  Roll thin and bake on a griddle (a big pan works as well) until light brown.  Take the thin pieces of Lefsa and butter the whole thing, then sprinkle sugar all over the buttered side than fold in half.  Butter the other side and sprinkle with sugar and fold this in half again.  Keep doing this until your hands hurt, or, until you can't anymore.

Skechid's Famous and Slightly Weird Fish Stew
submitted by Wayward Fool

Ingredients:
2 cloves of garlic, minced
3 shallots
1 tablespoon of butter
2 onions, chopped
3 carrots, chopped
2 large potatoes, chopped same size as carrots
fresh ground pepper
3 cups of fish stock **to make this yourself, boil fish bones in water for a few hours, maybe with a few "fish friendly" spices, like dill.** store bought is just fine too.
3 cups water
3 teaspoon sugar
3 tablespoon curry powder
4 tablespoons rice wine
2 - 2 1/2 lbs of Dory fish fillets, deboned, de-skinned, and sliced thinnly
3 tablespoons salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup parsley, chopped fine

To cook: In 1 tablespoon of butter, fry shallot and minced garlic until golden and set aside. Mix the fish together with salt, sugar, and parsley.  Can also do this while waiting during next step; dump soup ingredients into pot and bring to a boil then lower heat and continue simmering until potatoes are soft. This will take about 30 minutes, so prepare other fun activities while waiting. Such as reading my next recipe!  Switch heat off and stir the fish in.  Cover and leave alone for 15 minutes. Serve with a sprinkling of parsley for each bowl.
