Emonds Field Biscuits

1 ½ cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
4 tablespoons butter
¾ cup buttermilk

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425F. Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl. Use a knife to cut/chop the butter until it resembles course crumbs. Pour the buttermilk in gradually, stirring the mixture to form a soft dough. Roll out the dough until it is about ½ inch thick. Use a drinking glass to cut circles out of the dough.  Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden.

Aes Sedai Apple Muffins

2 cups diced apple
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
Stir together apples and sugar. Let sit for 30 minutes. Stir the oil, egg, and vanilla into the apple sugar mixture. Mix in the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and nuts. Spoon into greased muffin pan.  Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45-50 minutes. Let cool.
Emonds Field Homemade Pasta

3 eggs
2 cups flour

Directions:
Kneed together the eggs and flour until they have a sort of elastic consistency. Roll out the dough as thin as you can get it. Slice into thin strips. Let dry in the open air. Cook for approximately 1 minute in boiling water. Serve.
Emond's Field Deer Steak

About ten slices of bacon
One pack processed deer minute steaks ( available at most meat processors)
about 1/4c italian dressing
one bottle dale's seasoning

Instructions: Marinate the the deer steak for a day and night in the mixture of dale's and italian dressing.  Wrap bacon inside of the minute steaks and stick toothpicks in them( this is to hold them together) then roast or grill to your preference.

        12 oz. beef stock
        2 cups water
        1 pound carrots (sliced)
        2 cloves garlic (chopped)
        4 red potatoes (chopped)
        1 handful  fresh green beans (snapped)
        2 tomatoes (quartered)
         enough beef roast to feed everyone.

        Hang pot of stock and water over fire, add in vegetables, let cook till tender.  put beef on spit and turn till done, then cut in chunks and add to vegetables.  (or throw it in the oven, either way).  let simmer for 20 minutes and enjoy. goes great with some fresh baked bread.
