Bradley "Brad" Sherwood was born on November 24, 1964 in Chicago IL. Growing up he had one sister one step-sister and one step brother. He began acting when he was eight years old. His family moved to Santa Fe NM in 1974. He attended Wright State University where he earned a bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting.
He performed as a member of the Second City Alumni Players, Generic Comedy Troupe, and the Gopher Broke-Improv Company. He had a regular role in "My Talk Show" and in 1991 earned a recurring role in L.A. Law as Ned the Nanny. In 1996 he became the host of "The Dating Game" He also appears in comedy sketches in "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno"
He first appeared on "Whose Line is it Anyway" in 1992. He continued to appear in the UK version up till the start of the U.S. version. He is a regular player in the U.S. version and is part of the Pay Per View shows from Las Vegas and the Improv-All Stars.
