Hey All,
Well.....I am still married to the same guy that I married in January of our senior year ('93). Everyone said that it would not last.....but they were WRONG!! Going on 13 years strong, We have two very healthy, good kids (unlike myself at their age), Stinson age 11 and Tia age 10. My husband (Jay) is a Captain for American Airlines which allows me to be a stay at home mother with our children. I have not taken on the "workforce" because I believe my time is better spent at home with my kids. I take my "job" seriously enough that I homeschool them. It is a win/win situation. I get to be with them and they get a better education.
I still stay in touch with some of the people that we went to school with....well, namely one....Dottie Bartlett. We are getting ready to celebrate our 20th anniversary of being best friends come June. I know we had a falling out our Senior year, but despite all that was said, we are still best buds to this day. She is the God Mother of our kids....I thought since she didn't have any....mine were the best she would ever have. he he he!!!!! Love you Dot!
My thoughts are this.....once I get done raising and homeschooling kids, I might not want to work. I love nursing and know alot about it, but I think that I am just going to enjoy life. Travel where my husband flies and drink whatever is on tap where he is laying over. THAT IS LIVING!
I hope everyone is doing well, and I hope to hear from some of you. I tried to get to the reunion but Dottie was visiting my house and I couldn't make it. I hope to make it to the next reunion......that is unless I am sitting on a beach somewhere in Belize drinking Panty Rippers!!!!!!!
