Broken Color Mini Rex
Brokens come in all of the recognised colors of Mini Rex. The are to have more than 10% of the body colored, but not more than 50%. Other requirments are a nose marking of some kind, although a full butterfly shaped marking is prefered. The ears should show color, and solid colored ears that look like they were put on a white head are prefered over marbled looking ears. Eye circles should completely surround the eyes. The two most common color patterns are blanket and spotted. Blanket marked rabbits have more color than spotted, and the pattern should start at the neck, and sweep down the sides and color the hind quarters. There can be white patches within this basic pattern, as well as spots and speckles. Spotted rabbits usually have less heavy head markings, and usually show a stripe down the back of the body, as well as smaller parches or spots of color on the sides, hips, and belly. Both colors can have markings on the hocks, elbows, and feet. In Brokens, tonail color dosent really matter, as they can have unmatched nails due to pattern. |
