Facts about the Swamp Milkweed Beetle
You can find a Swamp Milkweed Beetle around marshes, stream edges and anywhere milkweed grows. They live all over North America. Their favorite food are the leaves and flowers of the milkweed. Their eggs are elongated and yellow. They are cemented to the underside of milkweed leaves. The larvae grows rapidly, drops to the ground and pupates there. Adults emerge by late summer.
