INTRODUCTION:
   Greetings.  My name is William B. Swift and this is my totally irrelevant web page.  The purpose of this page is to air a few of my ideas on economy in the Star Trek universe.  This page was created in May of 2001.  It was last updated on Oct 22, 2003.

WHAT HAVE I GOT?
     I've got a very extensive cost chart with an explanation/interpretation of the economy of the United Federation of Planets, a massive list of stats for phasers, and other ST ray guns (with picts!), a very detailed chronology of human/UFP space exploration, and a complete Index to ST Technical references (both books and magazines).  

SOURCES:
    I've tried to base all my information on reliable (or at least well thought out) sources.  Despite this it is likely that some people will disagree with the "canocity" of some sources or my interpretation.  For the purposes of this page I accepted Last Unicorn Games' view of the Star Trek universe as being "semi-canon."  It is not my intention to offend anyone or to say that any other interpretation is invalid.  Basically I'm just trying to make a Star Trek RPG page that is useful to other gamers.  When Decipher's new Game comes out I will make this site usable by both systems.
