Williams Reunion
October 1, 1961

Chet Williams asked for the reading of the minutes by Secretary Kathleen Williams.
Jack Hummel was nominated for president by Frank Williams, seconded by Virginia
Boggs. He was unanimously elected to be our 1961-62 president.

Mary Ellen Williams was nominated by Jane Williams, seconded by Ginny Boggs, for
the office of secretary-treasurer. This also was passed by a vote.

Ethel Stuller presented a bill of $16.57 for her prize and game expense.

Virginia Stuller passed out booklets to each member of every family. These are to be
filled out and returned to her so she can continue to write her project, which is to make
up a family tree of the Williams family (Sylvester & Glenna).

It was suggested we have the reunion earlier next year; Jack Hummel to decide the
date and Ethel Stuller to decided the location.

There was a gift for "Mom" Williams, a large (unreadable) pen to replace a worn-out
one.

The first family to arrive (The Frank Williams) were presented with a lovely pot of flowers. Ronnie & Marilyn Lane were the last family to arrive before lunch, so they collected the booby prize, same being the honor ? of serving as next year's entertainment committee. It was decided one of the games would be white-elephant bingo again, but this year each family is to make or buy one gift per family to use as prizes. It is preferred that these be made if possible, but nor over $1.50 if purchased.

Harley Williams offered a prayer before our meal honoring those members of the family
no longer with us. We then had a large & wonderful potluck brought by everyone.
