The annual Williams Reunion was held on October 10th, 1965 at the home of Chet and
Hazel Williams, Frazeysburg, Ohio. There were persons present.
After a delicious basket lunch, a business meeting was conducted by Frank Williams,
president.
Phyllis Keyes, Secretary-Treasurer read the minutes of the 1964 reunion. Officers
elected for 1966 were: President, Hazel Williams; Secretary-Treasurer, Ginny Boggs.
Committees elected were: Location, Marge & Ernie Rodgers; Entertainment, Ethel &
Kike Stuller.
The President thanked Chet & Hazel for having the group at their home after plans for
having it at Moundbuilders Park in Newark had to be cancelled because of weather.
Gifts were presented to: Mother Williams, an alarm clock; Harley & Tonie Williams for
arriving first, two cute brown beer mugs; Beverly Jane Bostic for the youngest present
at the reunion and to Sally Close for being the last to arrive, a squiggle.
Hazel Williams, Entertainment chairman, gave balloons, gum, ect. to the children.
The financil balance from 1964 was $22.23, the hat was passed for donations, bringing
the balance to $31.51. Payment was made to Hazel Williams for entertainment expenses
for the amount of $9.98 bringing the current balance to $21.53.
