Williams Reunion 1966

The annual Williams Reunion was held on September 25, 1966 at the home of Chet and Hazel Williams. There were 47 persons present. Hazel Williams, president, conducted the business meeting. Ginny Boggs, secretary-treasurer, read the minutes and financial report of 1965. Both were approved. The following were elected to serve as officers for 1967:   President: Ethel Stuller   Secretary-Treasurer: Pam Rodgers The President appointed the following committees:   Location: Clayton & Kathleen Williams   Entertainment: Pat & Gene Bostic and  John & Ellen Williams July 16, 1967 was the date decided upon for our next reunion. It was also decided that the third Sunday in July be a standing date for the reunion. Gifts were presented to Grandma Williams, a footstool. For arriving first Eileen & Harold Bice received tupperware & towels. Pat & Gene Bostic were given tupperware & towels for being the last to arrive and for being the youngest at the reunion Christopher Williams was given a small toy. Other gifts were given to younger children up to 14. Pudge Williams and Greg Rodgers won the gift drawing for the 15 & over and unmarried group. The door prize was won by Marge & Ernie Rodgers and in our appreciation a small gift was presented to Chet & Hazel for having all of us at their lovely home. The business meeting was then adjourned by our president, Hazel Williams.
