Ron Schnarr - 08/17/99 18:59:38 | Comments: So much of our religion's truths coincides and a connection must be made if possible. A new battle is being fought against the hells or the demons of this world. Our mother is being raped, our religions are relying purely on faith to change the world. ith faith must come action. I see the indian religion as much more alive than the christian church of today. Did not christians put the blacks into slavery and kick the red man out of his land? The jews were massacred by white German Christians and toda it is the modern christian who are selling our children to the sex, greed, and violence gods of america. The Christian church is dead. I am an 18 year old white christian boy and if it is enough to have faith and believe in christ and at the same time m rder and steal, I reject the christian church. Be Strong, Ron Schnarr "Religion is of life, and the life of religion is to do what is good." -Emanuel Swedenborg |
Ron Schnarr - 08/17/99 18:25:30 My Email:spoojif@aol.com | Comments: The bible is not only a history book, but it is a parable with deeper meaning even to the letter (in hebrew and greek). I believethis inner meaning has been revealed to us through the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg. The only reason i'm telling you this s because I notice many native americans talk of the symbolism of the bible which is the basis of the New Jerusalem and if you are interested you should check out this site. http://www.swedenborg.org/beliefs.html These books also talk of the ancients and the Acient Bible which contained the story of creation and the flood. Many beliefs and stories of the native americans sound quite like these people of the Ancient Church. So I highly value the teachings of th Native Americans for they are the ancients. Be Strong, Ron Schnarr |

Sharinali - 06/18/99 06:48:46 My Email:jym@jps.net | Comments: I would like to see something about the roles that animals play in the Native American beliefs. For example the Owl, Hawk, Rabbit, Lizzard, Eagle, Turtle, etc. with the different tribes and compared against eachother. Like some believe that the Owl is a aker of life, and others believe that the Owl is a spirit watcher who watches over you at night and the Raven is the taker of life. Others believe that the Raven is a giver of good. Most believe that the Eagle is the messager to the Great Spirit. See what I mean. I would like someone to list all of them and compare the importance of the animals with the different tribes. If this has been done, could you please email me? I like you web site. Keep up the great work, and thank you for the information that you provided. |
