Glory

"Blood Ties"

Character: Buffy has finally met her match in the Cordelia-esque goddes known as Glorificus, or Glory. Glory is simply trying to get home, and all she needs is the key. But standing between her and it is Buffy, since the key is acutally the slayer's little sister, Dawn. In "Blood Ties", Glory grills Dawn to see if she can tell her where the key is, while Dawn is simply trying to find out exactly what she herself is. The scoobs intervene just in time, and Glory starts kicking ass.. Figure: Glory is basically a reworked wedding Anya (Buffy). The bottom part of the dress was removed, and the excess of the skirt was cut off. I sanded down the bubbles, and cut the back of the dress so it looked appropriate to Glory's. the hair was removed, and resculpted. Dress detail was sculpted, and the figure was painted with Delta Ceramcoat paints. Accesories/ Base: I repainted Anya's base to look like the hospital floor. Glory comes with the crowbar she stole from Xander and empaled Buffy with, which was made from a hook on some figure's base. Retrospect: Not too pleased wiht the body, but I'm happy with the hair and face detail/likeness. Where is it now?: Waiting for a new home!
