Figure: The goal for this figure was to totally transform the base figure into something else. So I used the torso and waist from a Master figure (Buffy), with the extra jacket part cut off. The lower legs are from Angel (Angel), as are the arms. The head is from Neo (Matrix Revolutions). The hair and entire outfit (pant wrinkles, vest, jacket ribbing, gloves, belt and accesories, any spot where the parts met) were sculpted. The entire figure was sculpted with Delta Ceramcoat.
Accesories/ Base: riley's base was something I had fun with. The thing I remember most from the episode is the disgusting demon eggs. So I decided to do Spikes basement as a base, with one of those suckers on it. It started as a basic Buffy "B" base, with a sculpted carpet and egg. I used hot glue to get the slime effect, then painted it. Since I did so much for the base, I simply gave him a gun as an accesory.
Retrospect: Definately happy with this one. I did it right before and after two female figures with dresses, so I felt it allowed me to show my range at least a little. Also pleased with sculpt and paint, as well as likeness in general. Thanks to the peeps at the BTVSFigs forum fo the help!
Where is it now?: Sold off on ebay to another fantastic customer.
