Custom Figure: This Tara was basically all sculpting. While many had the idea, I'm pretty sure I was the first to use the later-overused head from the Deana figure from Planet of the Apes (unsure about company). I also used her torso (after a lot of trimming). I'm not sure about the arms since they were so heavily sculpted on. The skirt had a base of wire, cardboard, and masking tape (very crude), which was sculpted over. The feet were from the Deana figure. I also sculpted her hair complete with a zig-zag part. I used Hobby Acrylics (not recommended) to complete the paint job. I did the eye detail with pens, and made a masking tape stencil for the dress design to paint it.
Accesories/ Base: None
In Retrospect: I think I was a little bold so early on to take on the sculpting of the figure. The likeness turned out well, but otherwise she wasn't the greatest use of my time. At least I made her from an outfit that I haven't seen done agian yet!
