| Hello everyone! Thanks for your access! I am firstly a human being trying most-humanly hard to live a humanly way of life. I am secondly a husband who loves to pursue a happy life together with my wife. Thirdly, I am a teacher who enjoys coordinating my students toward realizing the meaning of their beings in our universal matrix. Forthly, I might consider myself a cultural anthropologist who loves to learn about various aspects of other cultures. Much of my time is spent in- and outside of my current place of residence, a crowded urban corner of Tokyo where many clone-like individuals run around in ant-resembling fashions. I turned 40 on the autumn equinox of 2003, but I would like to consider my "internal age" to be no more than 30 (it's a way of keeping myself youthfully spirited you know!). My birthplace is Kawachi-Hanazono, a nice small neighborhood that stands to the east of Osaka City. I have long been nurtured in the U.S. where I received my elementary, university, and post-graduate educations. I am currently interested in studying about premodernity in order to construct a neo-premodern lifestyle for myself and for special others around me who deserve to be liberated from a wide variety of problems that beset modern lifeways - including the problems of poverty, social injustice, and environmental destruction. I conduct researches on local knowledges and customs with which one could fight against the depersonalizing forces of globalism. Have a better idea of who I am? |
