Site FAQ

When was this site first created? The original Willow Paw Wolf Den was first created around December 1999. However it started going through a renovation August 2000. Before Dec. '99 I actually had a different website (my first, in fact) called Spirit of the Wolf. But I found out that another site had the same name, so I went on to Willow Paw Wolf Den, basing my ideas off those from my first webpage.

What is the purpose of this site? To inform people that wolves are good guys, not the bad guys they are so commonly referred to, such as in stories like The Little Red Riding Hood. Even though some believe the gray wolf should be delisted off the Endangered Species List, please keep in mind that the Mexican gray wolf (a subspecies), along with the red wolf, and the Ethiopian wolf are all still greatly endangered.

Do you have a webring? No, but in the future I'd like to start one.

Can I use the wolf photos on this page?
Sure!! I have no problem with that once you go through the following steps... First, contact the photographer and/or organization, asking for permission to use the photos, and second, give them credit on your site once you have been given permission. Refer below.

::Organization/Photographer:: ::Contacts::
Wolf Park Monty Sloan
Wolf Haven Julie Palmquist
The International Wolf Center Linda Ayslworth
Jack Winfield Ross n/a

But can I use the altered Wolf Haven images on your main page/home layout?
As it is part of my mainpage/home layout...no, sorry. E-mail me and I can probably help you create something for your purposes.

Can I use your mainpage/home layout idea(s)?
Please do not use my main page/home layout because of the work I put into it, and the fact that I plan to keep the site unique from all others through that "centerpiece." Sorry.

My computer won't let me e-mail you, what happened?
Bravenet, the hosting site of the e-mail form I'm using, might've experienced a hard drive failure. Post your inquiry or comments in my guestbook, I'll reply as soon as I read it from there. (Don't get me wrong, Bravenet is a very nice place for webmaster tools)

I am a beginning webmaster, any tips? For all your pages, make sure the writing is readable on the background you are using. Also, be considerate to people with screen resolutions of 640x480. If you have a larger computer screen, and create pages with widths of more than 640, these viewers would have to scroll horizontally. This, as you might imagine, can become quite annoying. To accomadate them, I've created tables with widths of 640 or less, putting my text inside of them. Further explaining, and I would confuse both you and myself, so please go on over to HTML Goodies or Echo dev for html, java, etc. help. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As of now, that's all the questions I can think of, e-mail me if you have questions that are not answered here.
