"Will's Helmet" Here are a few pictures of Will's helmet Casting & a before & after shot of his head. The progress that was made in the shaping of his head from Aug/2002 to October/2002 is amazing! The proper term for his mis-shapen noggin' is called Plagiocephaly. It has variating degrees of seriousness & problems... It's mainly noticeable by a "flat-spot" on the child's head. The casting took a whole 5/6 mins (if that!) & it really didn't bother him other that he got a tad upset that he wasn't allowed to wiggle all over for this short amount of time. & the end results were well worth it. |
