Welcome to My Computer Poetry Page |
What is computer poetry? Well the answer is simple. Computer poetry is any poem that is created with the help of the computer and its unique tools. Some poets use the computer to add graphics or to change to the layout of a poem. Computer poetry is a 'visual' experience, therefore computer poets like to experiment with the 'look' of the poem. Computer poetry is fun, yet it also requires the effective use of the computer (and its tools) in order to create a meaningful message or idea. Click here (text examples) and here (student examples) if you would like to see various examples of computer poetry. The examples come from two sources -- Themes on a Journey (editor James Barry) and my classroom. |
Computer poem examples are also available through a slide show presentation. Click here for the "show". |
