Being an older '63 Beetle, this bug is a six volt model. Sometimes this makes starting a real chore. particularly in Winter.
I go out to my trusty VW , put the key into the ignition and turn it, this is what happens;

Will'e is a '63 beetle that has been a part of our family since 1991. He had spent his life in the possession of one lady owner.
We happened to know the family, I had always thought it would be a good one to get my hands on. Suddenly I was asked if I had any idea of its value as the mum was not going to drive it any more. We agreed on a price and with a little time spent playing we managed to have a tidy beetle on the road as our second car.
Will'e has built a history with us. I plan to share more Will'e stories on this site.
Will'e is due to come back onto the road sometime this year after four years of time out. At this moment he is getting a bit of a tidy up.
