Hells Angels Montreal Chapter
The Hells  Angels  Montreal club, based  in Sorel, is Canada's first  Hells  Angels chapter. The gang  was originally known  as The Popeyes participated in  a brutal war  with the Satan's Choice and Devil's  Disciples over drug territory before officially  becoming Hells Angels on December 5, 1977.

The Montreal Chapter  is most responsible for  the organization's current  success  in Quebec. The Hells  Angels expanded  it's influence  across  the province  in the early 80s  and  approached several biker  gangs. A few of  them would eventually become  Hells Angels Chapters  and others remain under the gang's control.

The Hells  Angels, with the help of  it's puppet clubs, continues to be  a dominant force  in the Montreal  underworld. The gang  derives millions of  dollars a  year from illegal  activities, mostly drugs and prostitution.
