Depa Billaba Book appearances The following information was quoted from Star Wars Episode 1: Who's Who. A Pocket Guide to the Characters of The Phantom Menace by Ryder Windham. I have quickly read through the the novelization of The Phantom Menace and have not seen mention of Depa. I will update this when I finish reading the novel. Affliations A full Jedi Master, Depa is a member of the Jedi Council, along with Adi Gallia and Yaddle. Special Distinctions After her emigrating family was slain by space pirates, the six-month-old Depa Billaba was rescued by Mace Windu. Sensing the infant's strength in the Force, Mace Windu brought her to Coruscant for training. Now a Jedi Master, Depa Billaba is one of the most recent additions to the Jedi Council.
