After a few years in LA, I ended up in the right place at the right time to have a nice little free-lance career working with all manner of rockstars and producers in the music business doing something that we called synthesizer programming (back then it was really just sound design). I migrated to Utah in 1984 to study with the Composer-in-Residence at the University of Utah who was a pioneer of electronic music at Columbia University back in the 1960s. I finished-up at the U fo U's Graduate School of Social Work and had a ten-year career helping others overcome their life's difficulties. I did a lot of consulting with the Utah Courts, Corrections, Youth Organizations and School Districts while also developing and implementing hospital, outpatient clinical and community-based psychoeducational programs. I left the field after ten years and eventually migrated to the information technology industry. I currently (2004) manage an IT manufacturing company's sales operations for the last 5 years. I am single, no kids, never married and have enjoyed Salt Lake City's big small town atmosphere. I still play music a bit and run a small record label and booking agency on the side. I travelled and lived in Austrailia for 2 yrs. working with the Aboriginals. I also travelled and short time lived in Thailand, Singapore,Bali. and the Phillipines I joined the Salvation Army and found my calling as a ordain minister. As you may have or may not known, the family I lived with as a child was my foster family. Around the year 2001 I found my blood sister after 40 years.Turns out that I was a twin and 1 of 9. I was one of seven authors on Massachusetts' 1990 Solid Waste Master Plan, a comprehensive overview of present solid waste issues facing the state and projections for the future.
