| From its beginning, Woodmead School was strongly supported by dedicated support staff - ground staff, kitchen staff, maintenance staff, library staff and drivers. At least two of the support staff who started with Woodmead at the beginning were there at the end. Others completed over twenty years of service. The four longest serving members of the support staff were Aaron Mdlalose as a chef (1970-1998), Elias Makhuvha in maintenance (1970-1996), Lizzie Bosholo in numerous jobs including the library (1971-1998) and Johnson Ntshuntsha as a driver of considerable local renown (1980-1998). |
