Kenn Deigh explains Sheya:

The Current of the Sheya is in the Song of Awakening.  Our goals are the healing, evolution and integration of the Microcosm and the Macrocosm, according to the Will of the Aeon.

The term Sheya refers to every Magus who holds this Current effectively.  Unlike some other systems, the Sheya have no one person who holds the Current for everyone else.  It is the responsibility of each Sheya to harness the energies of HIr own being and to work HIr own will.  The term Sheya refers to any  person who is doing just this.  Sheya is necessarily an androgynous term, since it exalts the whole person, manifest in any form.

The Sheya are dedicated to the Awakening of the energies and Magickal Current of the Child Exalted; to the healing of the self and the Matrix of Life which feeds us and to the awareness of the Birthright of humanity.

The Magickal system of the S.E. is based on the aspects of Form, Energy and Consciousness.  These aspects are represented respectively by the names Dhyanna, Maggah & Khiyatta.  The primal unity of these aspects of existence is represented by the aspect of synthesis: Enochi.  Anything we might encounter within this world falls into one or more of these categories and the relationships between them.  They are the most basic exponents of existence, and they appear in every Godform we have created to explain the mysteries of our situation in the universe.

In turn, these aspects are ruled by the immutable natural Laws of Attraction, Repulsion and Balance. The basis of these Laws is in the Primal realization of the Other as separate from the Self.  This is the Mystery of the Serpent biting its tail, while thinking that it belongs to another snake.  The immediate response to this recognition of the Other is Flight, thus the Law of Repulsion, expressed in our own experience as any response which tends toward separation.  ie. Fear, Hatred, Resistance, etc..  This Law is countered; however, by the natural inclination of the Self to reunite with itself.  This awareness of my limited self as somehow incomplete is the root of Desire.  These two Laws are in constant tension, creating the third Law, which is Balance.  When we use the word Law, we are referring to the way things work.  These are not rules of external origin, but essential expressions of nature.

Our goals as Sheya Enochi, are concerned with attaining a balance of these aspects within the Self.  I find my own Mother and Father within myself, become my own Lover, and my own Child.  This is the reflection of the Macrocosm in the Microcosm.  As I awaken the symbol of Mother within me, it acts as a magnet to all my old traumas connected to my biological mother.  Only as I process these traumas, and release them am I able to realize the love and nuturing I can then allow my self to need.  As my own Mother, I can learn to nurture myself, and heal the old wounds that I was told could only be healed by others.  This self nurturing guides me inevitably to my Birthright.  As my own Father, I can give myself the Loving protection and guidance which allows me to truly realize myself.  And as my Child, I learn to play, to love and to heal myself.  I learn that I am a whole person, capable of anything which I truly desire.

Perhaps the hardest part of becoming Sheya lies in giving up the quest for personal power that has lured so many of us to the path in the first place.  The Sheya does not possess power, SHe is power!  Allowing yourself to accept power over any other person, is in itself a trap.  By accepting such power, you create a separation between yourself and your power.  You leave yourself open to having this power withdrawn, or even turned against you.  But the Sheya does not separate Power and Self, and so there can be no loss of power.

Any part is affected by the whole.  We cannot separate ourselves to the extent that we are no longer the product of our own personal history.  We are the microcosm, and we cannot perceive the macrocosm without projecting into it that which we are.  These are obvious and integral aspects of existence.  As such, the workings and rituals of the Sheya Enochi are not in any way unconnected with all that has preceded and all that follows.  Whether these writings are considered "received material", imaginative wanderings or an actual, working Magickal system and philosophy is dependent upon the user.  Let the proof be in the doing!  The power in any Current manifests only in its use.

"I Am the Child Exalted.  SHe who carries HIr Father within HIr womb."

Through the various initiations, invocations and devotionals, the initiate becomes increasingly aware that SHe is a perfect balance of Male & Female, Goddess & God.  Through the process of inner transformation (akin to Tantra and other iner alchemies) SHe comes to an actual physical Gnosis of HIr existence prior to gender separation.  The Child Exalted IS the Elder Serpent re-born into the world.

The most important and primary aspect of this work, both as Magickal system and as Philosophy, is that of personal responsibility.  This is the root of the power of the Sheya/Magus. The Sheya must accept and affirm HIr personal responsibility for HIr own power as a Human Being Awakened, and for any situation SHe might find HIrself in.  The immediate and inevitable goal of this magick is the healing and integration of the microcosm.  Through this healing, we may atune the various fragments of the self to the greater whole.

This balance, or Maat is achieved through Listening and Meditating on the aspects of the Triad.  I nurture and listen to my body as the Shrine of Dhyanna, reflection of all form.  ...my Life force as the eternal lamp, reflection of the solar nature of Maggah. . . .my consciousness as the Child Exalted, the reawakened Godhead in each of us.
