Will Young is the winner of the Pop Idol show in the UK. Pop Idol was a recent show that was quite different from Popstars. The aim of the show was to find and create a single popstar, and that popstar is Will. I didn't see the show, so I'm not entirely sure what happened, but I think that the audience were able to vote for who they wanted/didn't want to win, and so different people were voted in or out every week. I believe that there are a few other Pop Idol contestants who plan to start their own solo careers, and some even have record deals already.

I don't know much about Will, but I've heard parts of his songs, and they are really good! Will has just released his first single, which is a double A side called "Anything is possible/Evergreen". You can hear parts of both songs at his website, and they sound pretty good! I think I might be going to like this guy's music!
