deep sadness and pain,
things we all have felt.
Those who believe know,
that the Lord can take these things,
when we have Him in our lives,
when we offer them up to Him.
As people of faith,
we are called to help those in need,
regardless of what kind.
The worst being,
a world without His light.
We have all felt what we see others feel,
drifing through life before we found Him.
Seek them out,
share his Word,
some will relate by scripture,
others by hearing the words taught to us,
let the light of He within,
flow from you and warm their spirits.
Our actions and deeds,
show best where our hearts lie.
Let them know we all fall at times,
in our spiritual growth,
but feel peace for He knows,
our heart of hearts.
Make your life your message,
showing all you touch through you,
the peace of Him,
the love of Him,
show them the missing element,
the presence of He who is there always,
loving always,
waiting for us
to come to Him,
finally realizing He is our need.
