for our loved ones,
our fathers and mothers,
our daughers and sons
our husbands and wives
our brothers and sisters,
regardless of whether by blood
or by friendship.
We pray for their protection
their strength of faith
in times of world chaos.
Dear Lord,
these are difficult times we face,
but we know You are in control.
Help us be brave,
true to our beliefs
guide our way
to understanding and peace.
Each of us are facing our own battle,
whether it be in the armed forces
or those of us remaining to wait.
We pray you will wrap all,
in Your mercy and love,
keeping us strong,
steadfast and true.
We pray for Your light to shine
bringing light to darkness
as we are protected,
safe under Your wings,
until we are reunited once more.
