was a man who loved God,
showing that love,
through every thought,
every word and deed.
A man of great conviction
derived from his faith and calling,
to walk a path
teaching of love,
faith and hope.
He fought desperately
for truth,
the rights of
all mankind,
and world peace.
Whether he met the rich or poor,
he wished to know the person,
to take a moment with each,
thereby blessing all he met,
by his precious touch.
His strong yet gentle ways,
showed so many
the way to God,
by bridging great divisions,
to bring God's teachings
and His awesome love to all.
His legacy will live on,
as we each of us,
choose to live life
following what his life taught,
about grace and faith,
the value of life,
that a frail body
does not alter a person,
nor their strength or faith
and the never ending
power of prayer.
Above all,
how to love God
as God loves us.
Our world will miss this
great man
for the light of Jesus,
shined from his soul.
