| Real Name: Unknown Powers: Like the mutant's Mimic or Synch, Giedon can copy the powers of other mutants. But unlike Mimic and Synch, Giedon can keep the powers he copys. History: Gideon was a member of the Externals (immortal mutants) who possessed the superhuman ability to duplicate the genetic templates of any superhuman being in his proximity, and hence duplicate their superhuman powers. Gideon was wealthy, ruthless, and a powerful businessman. The External Selene, who had gone on a killing spree among the Externals, recently killed Gideon. |
