History: Medusalith Armaquelin was subjected to the Terrigen Mists as an infant and was transformed into having the power of total control over the hair on her body. As an adolescent, she often visited Black Bolt in his sound-proof chamber and the two learned to communicate via a sign language unique to them. When Black Bolt was freed from the Chamber, the bond between them grew into love. During the Trikon scheme of Maximus, Medusa was left with amnesia and wandered Europe, forced to commit petty thieveries in order to survive. Her exploits caught the attention of the America criminal the Wizard and he recruited her into his criminal group, the Frightful Four. During a battle with the Fantastic Four, Medusa at long last came to the attention of the Royal Family, who had been exiled from the Great Refuge by Maximus. Seeing her cousins cured Medusa's amnesia. After Black Bolt had retaken the throne from Maximus, Medusa stayed by Bolt's side as the royal interpreter and later, as his wife. She has recently left Attilan to serve as the Inhumans Ambassador to the United Nations.
