| WPBN-TV is opening the following positions for public application: |
| WPBN-TV NEWS DIRECTOR The Network News Coordinator will coordinate national and local news stories to be carried accross the network. Student will work with the Assignmnet Desk Coordinator and assign ENG crews and editors for local news coverage, as well as coordinate the consistancy of hard national and internation news between all news shows. As the newtork will continue to expand, this position will need to expand with it. Applicants must help shape this position as it is one with little structure now. |
| WPBN-TV ASSIGNMENT DESK COORDINATOR The Assignment Desk Coordinator shall be responsible for gathering all information on local stories that the News Director deems important enough to include in our news casts, and assign crews to provide ENG covergae as well as editors to cut those news packages. He or she will schedule crews, make all nessesary plans for ENG covergae, and gain permission for such shoots as need be. |
