Place in History - One of the biggest misses in becoming one of the legends of wrestling is Barry Windham. To watch Windham in his days in Georgia and the Carolinas, one cannot be unimpressed. Unfortunately big Barry's game never reached that upper echoleon that everyone expected. A combination of a knee injury and lack of direction led Windham to maintaining a upper midcard position into the 90s, in a period he should've ruled alongside Sting and Lex Luger. Windham was often thrown in a face role, which never suited him well, but he maintained a high work ethic. As a heel, his work soared, but was used to carry and put over more charismatic faces. One of the best workers of the late 80s and early 90s, Barry Windham is better remembered as that than the "could've-been" some may label him as nowerdays.
