first
to take up arms in the Revolution; and , the Sunday
following the
Lexington
fight, he rallied the "liberty boys," and marched the next
morning for Cambridge. He was in the Bunker Hill battle, and
several
others at the South, and continued in the army through the
war. He
had ten children, all of whom are dead except one.
