Chicago AL fans certainly got their money's worth at Comiskey Park. Harvey
Haddix(7-5) pitched a rare no-hitter as the Chicago AL White Sox toppled the
Cleveland Indians 12 to 0.

Haddix was obviously at the top of his game as he set the Cleveland batters
down like so many dominoes. He walked 2 Cleveland batters. The tension
started to build around the 6th inning. By the 9th inning the crowd was
electrified. Chicago AL finished with 14 hits in the victory.

Ned Garver(8-6) was the losing pitcher. He allowed 7 hits and 2 walks in 2
and 2/3 innings. 'Haddix made us look bad' Jeff said. 'I've seen a lot of
good performances in my time and this one will be tucked away in my memory
bank for a long time to come'
