History was made in Kansas City as Steve Hargan(15-9) tossed a no-hitter and
the Kansas City Athletics defeated the pathetic New York AL Yankees by the
score of 10 to 0.

Hargan was cheered on with every out from the 7th inning onward. The
adrenaline had to be just pumping through his veins. The atmosphere was
electric out there in Municipal Stadium tonight! He walked 5 New York AL
batters. What an evening for the fans. They were on the edge of their seats
from the 7th inning on. With every out, the electricity in the air mounted.
Hargan whiffed an impressive total of 12 New York AL batters. Kansas City
finished with 12 hits in the victory.

Jose Santiago(3-12) was tagged with the loss. 'Hargan pitched one heck of a
game!' Brian said. 'He didn't get away with any bad pitches because he just
didn't throw any bad pitches. What a performance!'
