History was made in Boston as Billy Hoeft(6-2) tossed a no-hitter and the New
York NL Giants defeated the Boston Red Sox by the score of 4 to 0.
Hoeft had an evening to remember. He walked 3 Boston batters. The tension
started to build around the 6th inning. By the 9th inning the crowd was
electrified. New York NL had only 6 hits for the game.
The losing pitcher was Frank Sullivan(6-7). What a show!' Camacho said.
'Hoeft was great out there -- I'm happy that he go it.'
